The summer has come to Sweden, and the bowls elite is traveling to Strömstad. A singles tournament over two days has gathered 55 bowlers from all over Scandinavia. 15 players are coming all the way from Norway, and seven are coming out of Stockholm.
11 groups of five.
2 best from each group advances to main knockout.
Place 3-4 competes in the Plate knockout.
Fifth place finishers gets to play for the Wooden Spoon.
Play starts at 9.30 on Saturday 24th and at 9.00 on Sunday.
The last two events of this year's Swedish Bowls Tours take place this weekend in Färgelanda. On Saturday 21st the three-bowl-pairs are being played. Full schedule here.

Swedish Bowls Tour 2013 kicks off this weekend in Strömstad with the singles tournament. Last years singles was won by Rosa Albrektsson in Karlstad. Rosa is this year in the same group as the former world championship silver medalist Dick Almén.
Play starts at 10 am on Saturday 11th in Strömstierneskolans Idrottshall.
ÖVERBY IF'S Dick Almén took tha last chance of the year and finally got his gold in the 2012 SBT Finals in Strömstad. The SBT ranked number five claimed his first title of the year, defeating Grebbestad's SBT number eight Bente Dahlgren after tie-break.
